The Vine Fellowship Church - Copley Ohio
Bible Studies and Fellowship Opportunities
Men's Thursday Morning Bible Study- The Men's Thursday Morning Bible Study is meeting in the Church's conference room every Thursday at 6:45 a.m. If you would like to join the men, please call the church or email Pastor Mark.
The Vine Fellowship is on a food mission to the Copley Police, Fire, and Service departments. Each month, a group of volunteers from the church coordinates a meal. We began this ministry in March 2018. The group includes the members Kay Daniel, Jean Griffith, Elaine Miller, and Rita Vincent. If anyone else would like to be part of this ministry, please contact Elaine Miller at 330-825-9254.
For many of us this season is busy with celebrating and all the activities that may be part of that--greetings to friends, baking, gift-buying, and decorating. These activities can be acts of love, but they can also be distracting pressures to meet other people's standards. Too often we have turned celebrating God’s act to rescue humanity from sin and our self-preoccupation into an orgy of materialistic activity.
As an act of gratitude to God we can choose to slow down and focus on what God has done, is doing, and promises to do in our future. One option for you is to download or pick up in print a copy of the “Long Expected” Advent study based on the hymn, “Come, thou long expected Jesus.” that the church is providing for your use on your own, or you may join the adult Sunday School class the first three weeks in December when we will use it as a group. (The class will not meet December 26 or January 2.) If you do not see the study on the entry table, please let Pat Franklin or the church office know.
